ANU Food CoOp in ACT selects BIO PAINTS for new premises

ANU Food Cooperative Limited officially opened its new premises on Sunday 9th September 2007.  Colours By Nature was privileged to be the prime supplier of Natural Paints for this important community project.

Australian made BIO Heavy Duty (HD) Wall & Ceiling Paint was selected to complete the 950m2 project within a tight timeframe.  Trims and Doors were finished with BIO’s Traditional Oil-Based and new Water-Based Enamel Paints.

The ANU Food Cooperative is non-for-profit organisation whose main aim is to provide healthy food to its members. Where possible the Co-op supports suppliers and products that avoid excessive processing and packaging and the use of unnecessary or harmful additives.

BIO HD Wall & Ceiling Paint is unlike conventional wall paint, it is a natural paint that breathes.  It has been tested by the Department of Defence according to the Australian Standard AS 1580 for scrub-resistant and dry hiding power.  It is therefore well suited for schools, restaurants, offices and public buildings with heavy traffic areas. BIO Wall Paint has no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and does not contribute to smog and pollution. It contains no lead, glycol derivates, aromatic hydrocarbons or styrene compounds.
