RANGE OF APPLICATION:
Interior ceramic
tiles, cotto and small mosaics on walls and floors made of
concrete, composite materials, plaster, gypsum board, breeze block
or chalky sandstone. Also suitable for heavy floor tiles and moist
areas but not for swimming pools. Not suitable for heavy wall
tiles. Suitable for floor heating systems if the tile bed is a
minimum of 28 days old.
TECHNICAL QUALITIES:
Powdered.
FULL DECLARATION:
Casein,
quartz sand, marble powder, white lime hydrate, cellulose and
diatomaceous earth.
COLOUR:
Whitish,
after hardening.
APPLICATION METHOD:
Apply using
a toothed trowel.
COVERAGE:
Determine
the exact amount needed by doing a test application. 1 kg is
sufficient for ca. 1 m2 (10.7 ft2). Coverage could be considerably
less depending upon the condition of the surface.

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of

How to use LIVOS BILIS Natural Tile
Adhesive
PREPARATION:
Surface must
be even, solid, dimensionally stable, dry, absorbent, clean,
water-resistant, free of cracks and grease. Remove all old coatings
and wallpaper. Even out all uneven spots in the surface with a
suitable filler. If possible, pre-treat highly absorbent surfaces
and surfaces containing gypsum with GRAVA Wall Primer Sealer. Sand
anhydrous surfaces, vacuum and prime with STRATOVER
Thinner.
PRODUCT PREPARATION:
Stir 0,5 kg
of powder into 300 ml of water or 5 kg in 3 liter. The amount of
water has to be measured exactly! After approximately 10 minutes,
stir strongly (preferably with a whisk) until a homogeneous mass
forms. The prepared product is depending on the consistency and the
weather ready to use after 1-2 hours.
APPLICATION:
- Apply adhesive to the
surface with a toothed trowel. The thickness of the coating is
determined by the material and condition of the tiles to be used,
and of the underlying surface. When installing heavy tiles on
vertical surfaces for example tile crosses should be
used.
- The open working time of
the adhesive is dependent upon the relative humidity and the
application temperature (5 - 30°C), and amounts to approximately 10
- 20 minutes.
- Place the tile into the
adhesive bed, press into place, and straighten within 5 - 10
minutes.
The tiled surface can be
grouted after approximately 12 - 24 hours (depending upon the
material and the weather).
