DESCRIPTION:
VOLVOX Hard Oil-Wax
Finish a thick running oil-wax combination for fine sanded wood
surfaces and cork interior. The product enhances the look and feel
of natural wood and dries to a satin-matt sheen. This
water-repellent floor & furniture finish is also suitable for
kitchens and bathrooms.
DIN 53 160 certified for colour
fastness when exposed to perspiration and saliva. DIN EN 71 Part 3
certified as suitable for toys.
ENVIRONMENT AND HEALTH
FEATURES:
VOLVOX Hard Oil Wax
Finish is made from natural and non-toxic raw materials. The
product is VOC free, it contains no solvents. Manufacturing process
ensures ecological sustainability and avoids water pollution. The
product will not charge electro static energy. When used according
to manufacturer’s direction, the product is harmless to human and
the environment.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Provide a clean, dry,
firm and grease free surface. Timber should be in good physical
shape, absorbent and sanded to 100 -120 grid. Oil-, resin- and
tannin-rich wood should be cleaned using appropriate
methods.
APPLICATION:
Stir well so the gel like
Hard Oil Wax becomes fluid. Apply very sparingly and even. Use

VARIATION OF
USES:
Do not apply in temperatures
below 10°C or above 30°C.
DRYING AND RECOATING:
Depending on temperature
and humidity, dry to repaint after 6-12 hours.
Note: Estimate drying time by
test application on cork.
CLEAN UP:
For cleaning tools use
warm soapy water or Iso-paraffin thinner.
PACKAGING AND COVERAGE:
1 litre will cover 30-50
m2 per coat. Sizes 0,75 litre and 2,5
litre
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
Store tightly sealed in a
cool and dry place. Minimum shelf life for unopened and properly
stored cans is 24 months.

Flax Seed Oil, Tung Oil,
Colophony, Bees Wax, Carnauba Wax, Lead-free dryers (Zircon, Cobalt
Octoat), Oximes (Anti-skinning Agent). Product does not contain
solvents
SAFETY:
Always work in a
well-ventilated area. Working rags and other fabrics soaked with
oil may self- ignite. Let dry safely outdoors on a cloth line or
store in a sealed metal container. The product by itself will not
self-ignite.
Even if non-toxic, keep away from
children.
DISPOSAL:
Allow unwanted paint to
dry. Solid matter should be disposed of via the normal garbage
collection service.

MAINTENANCE:
In the first 3 weeks no water please! Use dry cleaning methods only
such as dusting or brooming. Sand, moisture and dirt may harm your
freshly treated timber. After that a damp (not wet) mopping may
follow if necessary. Remove water splashes and staining liquids
immediately. Remember that the oilresin-wood layer must cure
before full strength is achieved for sometimes many
weeks.
Use only products that are
suitable for cleaning and maintaining natural oil finished timber.
We recommend VOLVOX Wood Soap, VOLVOX Wax Finish or/and VOLVOX
Floor Renovator as an additive to mobbing water. Avoid abrasive
chemicals since these will attack the oil-resin-wood layer. From
time to time, some drops of the original used oil can work
miracles. Simply wipe a few drops to the timber. Wipe the surface
dry after 10 -15 minutes.
