DESCRIPTION: Use Volvox Hardwood Refresher for care and
maintenance of Volvox oil finished timber floors and furniture. The
product is adjusted to rejuvenate heavily used and worn out oil
finished surfaces. It is also suitable to remove stains and
marks.
APPLICATIONS:
VARIATION OF USES:
Regular Care: Stir product well and add up to 20ml. to 10 litre
of water. Use this solution to mop the floor clean. WIPE SURFACE
DRY AFTER.
Rejuvenating: Mop floor clean. Stir product well. Apply one
very thin coat of Volvox Hardwood Refresher with a moist (water)
mop or cloth. Repeat application until surface appears rejuvenated.
Mop off soap residues and WIPE SURFACE DRY AFTER.
Marks and Stains: Stir product well and apply to the
affected area. Work the product in grain direction into the timber
using a cloth or lightly abrasive Scotch pad (white). Wipe clean
after with some water or moist mob. WIPE SURFACE DRY AFTER.
CLEAN UP: Clean tools immediately with water after use.
STORAGE: Store product cool, frost-free and in tightly
sealed container.
INGREDIENTS: Flax Seed Oil, Wood Oil, Rosin, Beeswax,
Carnauba Wax, Lead free dryers, Preservative, Seed oil soap.
SAFETY: Working rags and other fabrics soaked with oil may
self-ignite. Let dry safely outdoors on a cloth line or store in a
sealed metal container. The product by itself will not self-ignite.
Even if non-toxic, keep away from children.
DISPOSAL: Allow unwanted oil to dry. Solid matter should be
disposed of via the normal garbage collection service.
DISCLAIMER: The user is recommended to test the product on
the intended surface to ensure its suitability.
HANDY HINTS AND TRICKS FOR FRESHLY OIL FINISHED FLOORS:
Treat your fresh oiled surface with care since oil needs to
harden for a period of 2–3 weeks. NO WATER ON THE OILED SURFACE.
After that a moist mobbing is possible. Do not use any detergent or
other additives in the mobbing water. WIPE SURFACE DRY AFTER.
Avoid micro fire mobs as they will extract oil from the timber.
Note that oil finished surfaces are permeable to vapour while
fluids and dirt is repelled. Some vapour of liquids can penetrate
the protective oil layer and can react with substances in the wood
such as tannic acid causing slight stains. These can easily be
removed by adding 20 ml. Volvox Hardwood Refresher 5-871 to 10
litre of mobbing water. Moist mob the floor and WIPE SURFACE DRY
AFTER.

maintenance of a floor.
