LIVOS DUBRON Wall and Ceiling Paint 406

Range of application: Plaster, concrete, masonry, oatmeal wallpaper, gypsum board, as well as sound water-based painted surfaces. Not suitable for textile and vinyl wallpaper.

Technical qualities: Free of solvents, produces a bright white, wipe-able, antistatic finish. High water vapor permeability. Easy to apply, with no tendency to blotch or splatter. DIN 55 987 certified for coverage strength.

Full declaration: Water, chalk, talcum, titan dioxide, kaolin, beeswax soap, methyl cellulose, safflower stand-oiland silver chloride.

Color: White.

Application method: Stir product thoroughly before using. Apply one undiluted coat with a brush, or lambs-wool roller at room temperatures above 10°C (50°F). Do a test coat for adhesion and compatibility.

Coverage: 1 undiluted liter (1.06 fl. quart.) is sufficient for approximately 9 m2(97 ft2) per coat, i.e. 111 ml/m2. Coverage could be considerably less depending upon the condition and absorbency of the surface. Always do a test application.

Drying time: At 23°C (73°F) and 50% relative humidity, dry to the touch after approximately 12 hours. Fully hardened and ready for subsequent coating with plant-based paints after 3 - 5 days.

Cleaning up: Clean equipment immediately after use with water, eventually with LATIS Tool Cleaner No. 558.

Specific gravity: Approximately 1.3 g/ml.

Safety advice: Keep out of the reach of children.

Disposal: According to locally regulated laws.

Container sizes: 1l; 5l; 10 l; 30l.

Storage: Cool and dry, protected from frost and freezing. Use contents of opened containers within 2-3 days. Please, see label for expiration date.

Packaging: Made of polyethylene (PE). This material is ground water neutral and recyclable.

General surface Requirements and Preparation: The surface must by dry, solid, able to absorb and bear load, neutral, clean, and free of separation agents, cracks, efflorescences and fungi. Fill holes and cracks with VEDO Filler No. 440. Structural cracks must be repaired with a crack-bridging repair system. DUBRON Wall & Ceiling Paint No. 406 can be diluted with max. 10 % water for priming.

Important tips: For maximum results, do not mix with products of other manufacturers for coloring, varnishing, or spackling prior to painting. Test adhesion, compatibility etc. There might be additional coats of DUBRON Wall & Ceiling paint No. 406 necessary if the surface is high-contrast, very smooth, strong or differently absorbing. Application with an airless spraying device is particularly advantageous when the surface is very smooth or high-contrast.If the coats applied exceed to amount of coverage recommended the wipe-ability is reduced and the dried paint will tend to appear chalky. Remove fresh paint splashes with SVALOS Dilutant No. 292. DUBRON Wall & Ceiling Paint No. 406 contains drying oils. High humidity over an extended time period and delayed drying and may cause odor. Please, be sure to provide adequate ventilation.
