DESCRIPTION: VOLVOX Wax Finish is a natural protective
coating made from water-borne Carnauba wax. It is formulated for
sealing furniture, floors and some painted surfaces. Furthermore it
is suitable for the care and maintenance of oiled and wax floors
and other surfaces.
PROPERTIES: This wax finish creates a porous, water
resistant film that can be buffed to an attractive, soft sheen.
USES: For sealing heavily-used porous surfaces such as
wood, cork, natural stone or tiled floors, stairs, work surfaces
etc. It can also be used for cleaning and restoring wooden
surfaces. Shake well before use!
SPECIFICATION DATA:
Colour: Clear
Finish: Satin
Drying Time: 15 minutes
Coverage: Undiluted approximately 25 square metres
per litre. Diluted - 1 litre will make 20-50 litres when
mixed with water.
STORAGE: Keep container tightly sealed and store in a
cool, dry and frost-free place.
APPLICATION DATA:
Method: Cloth or mop
Thinning: Water
Cleaning: Water
SURFACE PREPARATION: For best results, it is advisable to
prime all surfaces with either VOLVOX Hard Oil Wax Finish (1-342)
or VOLVOX Hard Oil (1-340) or VOLVOX Wood Oil (1-346).
PROTECT AND SEAL SURFACES: Use undiluted and apply evenly
with a water-wet cloth or mop. Leave for up to 15 minutes, then
buff with dry lint-free cloth or buffing machine.
CARE TREATMENT: Mix 20-50 ml of VOLVOX Wax Finish into 10
litres of warm water. Apply as above.
REMARK: Using a micro-fibre cloth for the application of
oil or wax and the cleaning of the treated surfaces will cause
shorter intervals of maintenance and a higher consumption of
oil/wax.
INGREDIENTS: Carnauba wax, alcohol ester, water and
sodium citrate.
PRECAUTIONS: Do not apply if the ambient temperature is
below 5 °C or relative humidity exceeds 95%. Keep container sealed
and out of reach of children. Do NOT empty into drains or
watercourses. Any dry leftovers can be disposed with domestic
refuse. Check local regulations of waste disposal.
SAFETY INFORMATION: Product is Bio-degradable and
non-toxic.
