DESCRIPTION: Based on potassium waterglass it
is ready to use mineral paint, which binds chemically with mineral
surfaces. It is suitable for all interior and exterior
mineral surfaces like cement, stucco, sandstone, concrete, brick
and fibre cement but not for gypsum lime based plaster.
Highly durability against weather, UV-light and environmental
forces. Highly water vapour permeable and heat resistant. Highly
alkaline fungicidal.
PREARATION: According to Australia
Standard 2311 – The painting of buildings. The surface must be
sound, free from dirt and grease, clean and dry. Dispersion, latex,
acrylic and oil paint and any oil from concrete formwork must be
completely removed. (For example when using a paint stripper and
all traces of the coating and stripper must be removed by hosing or
steam cleaning.) Moisten new and very dry surfaces with water. To
Repair hairline cracks, use putty made from BIO Silicate Primer and
quartz sand.

natural fillers and agents according to German Standard DIN
18363/2.4.1
CLEANING: Use water immediately after
use
COVERAGE: The coverage in the priming section
is to be used as a guideline only. For an accurate calculation test
a small area first. Stir thoroughly before using. To avoid
patchiness due to drying edges, a wet edge should be maintained, or
alternatively work should be carried out to an internal or external
angle or to a feature. Where it impractical to maintain a wet edge,
the dry edge should be lightly wetted prior to continuing. A
similar technique should be used when coating small discrete areas
such as scaffold attachment points etc.
PRECAUTION: Alkaline! May irritate skin and
eyes. It is recommended that suitable protective measures are
taken. Eye goggles and necessary during handling, dilution
and application. Splashes on the skin or eyes should be
washed immediately with plenty of water. Remove splotches on
glass, clinker, bricks, stone, aluminium or lacquer immediately
with plenty water and otherwise there will be stains. KEEP AWAY
FROM CHILDREN.
