Range of application: For plaster, cement, brick, oatmeal
wallpaper, gypsum board, drywall and smooth, painted surfaces,
without previous priming. Not suitable for textile or vinyl
wallpaper surfaces. Technical qualities White, wipe-able, easy to
use, very breathable, anti-static (dust resistant). Solvent free in
accordance with ECO German Environmental Labeling System. Does not
tend to clump or splash. Coverage meets German Industrial Norm
(DIN) 55 987. For color, mix with our URA Coloring Paste No. 410 as
desired.
Ingredients: Water, chalk, talcum, natural resins, zinc
oxide, bentone, beeswax, methyl cellulose,
beeswax soap, hemp oil, linseed oil, safflower oil, silver
chloride, Isoaliphates, orange oil, (as solvent, less than 2%).
Dilution: Ready to use! Do not dilute.
Application method: Apply with a brush, lambskin roller
or airless spraying gun at temperatures above 10oC (50oF).
VARIATION OF USES:
Coverage: 1 liter undiluted covers approximately 5 to 6
m². Always depends on surface smoothness, absorbency and thickness
of application. Test coat recommended.
Drying time: At 23oC (73.4oF) and 50% relative humidity,
approximately 12 hours
Specific gravity: Approximately 1.26 g/ml
Cleaning up: Clean tools immediately with warm water and
our TRENA pH-Neutral Cleaner No. 556 or LATIS Natural Intensive
Cleaner No. 551.
Disposal: According to locally regulated laws.
Container sizes: 0.75 lt; 2.5 lt; 10 lt
Storage: Cool, dry and frost free. Please see label for
expiry date. Use opened container within two or three days.
General surface: Surface must be dry, solid, able to
absorb and bear loads, neutral, clean, and free of dust,
Preparation: dirt, grease, cracks, splits and mould and
fungi. Fill holes and cracks with VEDO Wall Filler No. 440. Repair
construction or structural cracks with crack-bridging repair
system. Smooth out before painting. Stir DUBRON well before using.
Test coat recommended.
Surface Preparation:
Cement - Remove dust and dirt
Gypsum/lime plaster, - drywall Remove dust and dirt; sand off
powder coatings
Concrete - Remove oil residue, dust, dirt
Breeze block - Remove dust and dirt; use filler if necessary
Clay, brick masonry - Remove dust and dirt
Old chalky paint - Brush with a wire brush and remove dust
Old oil, acrylic or latex paint - Roughen surface and remove
dust or wash with alkaline and rinse well
Peeling paint or distemper - Remove thoroughly, wash well and
let dry
Hardboard - Remove dust, dirt, grease
Wood veneer, chipboard - Remove dust and dirt
Gypsum fibreboard - Check joints for fit and tightness
Oatmeal or other natural wallpaper - Check that glue holds paper
to wall (except textile) and re-glue if necessary.
Application: Two very careful coats can completely cover
most surfaces, including oatmeal wallpaper. Apply extra coats on
very uneven, very smooth and very or inconsistently absorbent
surfaces for best results. Application with an airless spray
mechanism is especially advantageous on very uneven or very smooth
surfaces.
Important notes: Keep out of the reach of children. Stir
well before using. If applied too thickly, DUBRON can become chalky
when dry. Confirm color/tint once test coat is dry. Ensure good
ventilation to speed up drying time.
Warning: Do not mix with tints from other
manufacturers.
