VOLVOX Floor and Furniture Hard Wax - Interior

Description: Clear Wax for the maintenance of wood surfaces.

Coverage: 10 – 20 ml per m², depending on surface properties.

Colour: Clear, enriches the colour of the wood.

Drying Time: Can be polished after 30 – 45 minutes, depending on room temperature and relative humidity. Applying too thick coats will cause a sticky surface.

Range of Application: For the refinement and water-repelling protection of all interior surfaces, especially wood, cork and unglazed potter's clay tiles that have been treated with Volvox Hard Oil. For heavily used surfaces (e. g. stairs, hallway floors) better use Volvox Preserving Wax.

Properties: Satin-sheen surface. Very liant due to its salve-like consistency, therefore easy to apply. Very yielding. Creates a satin and water-repellent surface but still is fully pervious to vapour. Excellent  wood care properties. Permeates quickly and can soon be polished. Worn areas can be repaired easily be re-applying the wax.

Volvox Floor and Furniture Hard Wax is made of non-poisonous and natural raw materials not endangering the environment and watercourses. Especially positive effect on the room climate. It does not cause electrostatic charge.

Due to its ingredients Volvox Floor and Furniture Hard Wax is extensively harmless for the user and the environment when used as intended. Volvox Floor and Furniture Hard Wax should not be applied in temperatures below 15 °C.

Preparation: The surface should be clean, dry, dust and grease free. Sand wood carefully. Exotic types of wood (e.g teak) should carefully be degreased with Volvox Alcohol Thinner. Highly absorbent surfaces should be primed with Volvox Hard Oil or Volvox Primer first. Cook and cork parquet should be primed with Volvox Floor Lacquer, Satin Finish, diluted with 20% Isoparaffin, or Volvox Primer only.  Note: as cork resin components may prolong the drying times a preliminary test of the drying properties must be done. The priming coat should be done sparingly and all excess liquid should be removed with a cloth.

Application: Afterwards apply Volvox Floor and Furniture Hard Wax very thinly. The application may be simplified be heating the wax (not exceeding 50 °C). Apply with a lint-free cloth or a buffing machine. When dry polish with a cloth bale or a polishing brush.

VARIATION OF USES:

Tools: Cloth bale, buffing machine. Clean tools with Volvox Isoparaffin.

Storage: Store in a cool place. When partly used flatten the surface of the remaining wax and keep container tightly sealed.

Ingredients: Bees wax, carnauba wax, candelilla wax, ceresin waxes, isoparaffin.

Safety: Floor and Furniture Hard Wax is flammable. Even if non-poisonous keep out of the reach of children.

Disposal: Allow product rests to dry and dispose of according to the local rules in force.
