DESCRIPTION: Volvox is VOC free, water based, non
drip and long lasting wood finish for interior and exterior
use.
COLOURS: Available in transparent wood
colours of natural (exterior only) clear. (Interior only) Pine,
Walnut, oak, Mahogany, Teak, White, Ebony, Citrus Yellow, Corn
Yellow, Oriental Red, Meadow Green and Mondrian Blue. The ProAqua
clear can be tinted to match your individual colour scheme.
USE: Volvox ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish can be
used on windows, doors, pergolas timber cladding, coating over
dried Volvox wall paint and other wood that should be protected
interior and exterior. Depending on the pigment concentration it
can appear transparent up to opaque. If you decide for clear finish
on the exterior use Volvox ProAqua Natural. Volvox
ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish is not recommended to be used on
timber floors.
ENVIROMENT: Volvox ProAqua Transparent Wood
Finish is made from natural and non-toxic raw materials.
Manufacturing process ensures ecological sustainability and avoids
water pollution. No chemicals solvents are used. The
product will not charge electro static energy. When used according
to manufacturer’s direction, the product can be considered as
harmless to human and the environment. Certified VOC free.
SURFACE DIRECTION: Provide a clean, dry, firm and
grease free surface. Timber should be in good physical shape
and adsorbent. Oil resin and tannin reach wood should be cleaned
using appropriate methods. Slightly sand and check old coats of
Volvox ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish if these are fit to be
painted over, remove them if they are not.
APPLICATION: Reduce Volvox ProAqua Transparent Wood
Finish with 5-10% water, stir well and apply and spread evenly. Use
lacquer roller and/or air coat spray applicator. Let dry for at
least one hour then sand slightly with 120-180grid. Second
coat can be applied undiluted, reduce with 5-10% water if
necessary. After drying, sand again. For exterior wood protection,
at least three coats are recommended. Do not apply in temperatures
below 10C or above 30C.
DRYING & RECOATING: Depending on temperature and
humidity, touch dry within 15 minutes, dry to and after one
hour.
COVERAGE: Depending on surface condition 1L covers approx
13m2.
CLEAN UP: Clean tools with soapy water and disperse
of water away from drains.
INDIVIDUAL TINTED VOLVOX PRO AQUA: The clear Volvox
ProAqua Transparent Wood Finish can be tinted by adding pigment
pasted according to NCS Standards.
MAINTENANCE: Check varnish from time to time for
aggressive pollution deposits and clean when necessary. If
water repels, that’s an indication that the Volvox ProAqua
Transparent Wood Finish is intact, if it doesn’t it’s time to
rejuvenate. Clean surface and lightly sand then simply apply
another coat.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: Store tightly sealed in a cool
and dry place. Minimum shelf life for unopened and properly stored
cans is 24months. Project against freezing.
INGREDIENTS: Water, earth pigments, mineral filling
materials, vinegar ester, preservatives.
SAFETY: Provide adequate ventilation during and after
application. Even if non-toxic, keep away from children.
DISPOSAL: Allow unwanted paint to dry. Solid matter
should be disposed of via the normal garbage collection
service.
